Totally enjoyed this product and was able to use the enclosed link to get a great PDF manual that takes you step by step to build this device, and a couple of variations. Good product, great instructions.

  1. Gabi

The only thing that would have stopped me from ordering the kit would have been the shipping time, however for the satisfaction after building the project it’s well worth.
I really like this kit as it’s created for beginners that are new to IoT projects.
For me the best feature is having the OLED display and of course the great comprehensive step by step manual written by Daniel.
I can’t recommend this enough to anyone that would like to get started on learning how to build small ESP8266 based projects.

  2. Erich Styger

This kit will get you addicted to ESP8266 IoT 🙂

Hi Gabi, that’s good to hear. It was definitely the case for us 🙂

  5. Joe

The provided code does not compile. I followed the instructions several times including a trying a fresh install of Arduino IDE. The error dump appears to be the result of some kind of header file conflict. Very frustrating. The two breadboards supplied are too small (170 pin). The kit should have come with a single 400 pin board. The ESP8266 board that came with the kit works great and runs other apps.

      Thanks for your feedback.

Are you sure you got a genuine ThingPulse kit? Ours does not contain any breadboards.

Our software is from https://github.com/ThingPulse/esp8266-weather-station. If you need help with setting up your environment correctly please head over to https://support.thingpulse.com/.

Really nice project well documented and a good basis to create your own stuff on top of it.
