I purchased the ESP32 Color Kit Grande and received it in a short time. I was able to put the kit together and got it working. I flashed the weather station code and works great with real nice display and colors. Just make sure you take your time and read all the instructions and see the soldering videos follow the steps the flash the OS and code and install all the apps. I had a question configuring the code and Daniel from tech support got back to me quickly. Nice kit and I recommend it.

One of the coolest “gadgets” I have bought! I learned a lot, it works perfectly well, and the support from the ThingPulse Team is awesome. I am using the device now as a remote control for my HomeAssistant setup. I can toggle light switches, and it shows me the CO2, temperature, and humidity values. I can even turn on/off radio stations and adjust the sound volume! Super cool!

Great fun to play with this kit ! The soldering is easy, and it is kind of funny that when I was about to contact support because the display did not work, I saw the section of the most common soldering mistakes.. The software is also in a good state to have a great gadget on your desk, but it really stimulates you to customize it. I have a lot of fun with this kit !

My specific use case for this device is a control panel for my Home Assistant. Specifically, to control lights and other physical devices as well as display key information regarding solar generation and power usage. With the help of the Home Assistant blog post I was able to easily achieve my goal with this device. It is a high quality product and an absolute joy to build. Customer service is excellent! After assembling I first had some issues 🙁 The support by Email was quick, perfect and verry helpfull. I now have a fully functioning weather station and will now start to adjust some things to make it talor-made (add my own sensors). Assembling is easy, for testing the screen (flash app) you need Edge or Chrome (Firefox won’t work). The instructions to download the code, add the needed setting for WiFi and weather forecast API are goed to follow. Many thanks to Daniel for helping.

Got the Kit put together with no problems. I struggled a bit with platform i/o and didn’t follow the instructions closely enough. I got it up with text only. No graphics. After some e-mail exchange with the tech folks at thingpulse, I got it working. I have it mounted in a 3-d printed case so the project looks great. I am very pleased with the whole experience. Even with my Sr Moment. (I am an 81 yr old retired engineer, trying to keep my skills up)
