About ThingPulse, it's about IoT

About

ThingPulse develops, promotes and sells IoT hardware and software for both makers and consumers. ThingPulse is where IoT components and traditional applications meet. We’re experienced (enterprise) software engineers who have helped our respective employers implement countless successful projects over the last 15 years. As we have worked for demanding Swiss and international clients (of our employers) we bring the right mind set and skill set for delivering excellent products to our own customers.

ThingPulse Ltd. is registered in Zurich Switzerland to the owners Daniel Eichhorn and Marcel Stör. It was officially founded on January 8th, 2018. This site launched on February 1st, 2018.

Daniel “Squix” Eichhorn is a well-known and respected figure in the ESP8266-Arduino community. He has been selling IoT hardware and has churned out DIY maker projects since 2015 at an impressive rate. The commercial aspects of those activities are transferred over to ThingPulse.

Marcel “frightanic” Stör has been one of several NodeMCU maintainers since summer 2015. NodeMCU is a firmware for the ESP8266/ESP32 WiFi SoC. He also contributed several tools for the NodeMCU community: NodeMCU cloud builder, Docker NodeMCU build, NodeMCU PyFlasher.
